How are the daily plans structured?

There are seven elements to each daily plan:

  1. Preparation and planning.

  2. The ELDA for the day, with an OBSERVATION to make during the day and a question to ask yourself about the child.​

  3. A THEME DISCUSSION with visual aids.

  4. An illustrated, teacher-directed PLAY-BASED concrete activity, which is about the theme or concept.

  5. Presenting the ACTIVITY SHEET. Illustrated step-by-step suggestions.

  6. Making an ASSESSMENT with a question to ask yourself about the child.

  7. An illustrated, teacher-directed PLAY-BASED enrichment activity which could be a game, art activity, gross-motor activity, etc.

  8. A song and a story. Links to a song and a story that relate to the day.

Where do I find the daily plans?

  • The daily plans are ONLINE ONLY.

  • Each module has a HOME PAGE on this site.

  • On the HOME PAGE you will find the daily plans.

  • PLUS games and visual aids to download. These are in the daily plan.

  • PLUS a picture gallery about the theme.

  • PLUS links to YouTube videos with stories and songs about the theme.

  • PLUS teaching tips.

Can I see how it looks?

Yes! Follow this link to DOWNLOAD ONE THEME and see the HOME PAGE for that theme.

How much does it cost?

  • The subscription to each module (and each age group) costs R600.00.

  • After 12 months the subscription can be renewed for R300.00.
