Squeezing pegs (as in Day 4) is also great for warming up and strengthening the hand muscles before colouring in or drawing.

Playing games with the children is a good opportunity to improve their language skills, e.g. playing memory and domino games. Name everything you see while playing the game and ask lots of open-ended questions to encourage discussions.

2. Download and print a copy of the Activity sheet for each child.
3. Large circles cut out from red and blue card or painted scrap card.
4. Red and blue paper and red and blue dot stickers.

4. An egg box for each child. Red, yellow and blue paint.

4. 3 containers marked red, yellow and blue with a few beanbags in the same colours.

3. Paper plates painted red, yellow and blue with a few matching pegs for each plate.
4. Shapes cut from coloured card with a hole punched in each one.
